Tides is a continuation of a journey started more than twenty five years ago by long-time Washington-area stylist and salon-owner Vincent Marvaso. After launching his career in Georgetown, Vincent opened Capelli Inc., which served as a peaceful refuge on Capitol Hill for more than 18 years. In every salon he’s owned, Vincent has worked to create an environment where visitors can leave the stresses of the day behind -- relax, and rejuvenate.
